Following a highly productive visit to Grosmont, Plans are progressing well for 55 022 in its current guise of 55 007 ‘Pinza’ to visit the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, initially until at least August. It should be arriving at the Railway sometime in the first week of May hauling 26 038 from Bo’ness and details will be advised in due course.

It is planned for the loco to work at both the Scottish ‘Branch Line’ Galas taking place on consecutive weekends between the 6th & 8th and 13th to 15th of May, the Diesel Gala between 17th and 19th June.
In addition it is expected that the loco will work regularly to both Pickering and Whitby and we will endeavour to advise details well in advance whenever possible.

We hope that many fans of the Deltic’s will visit and travel behind 55 022 and display that there really is a large amount of interest in the iconic locos, we look forward to seeing you there.
