The Engine House at Highley is holding a special open evening on Thursday 18th May, the ‘Diesel Gala Burger & Bar Event’, with a selection of real ales, cider, lagers and soft drinks available as well as Aberdeen Angus Burgers and Cheeseburgers. This is a social event for all the visiting loco support crews and all visitors to the diesel festival are invited to attend what should be a great evening with the 30 Years of SVR Diesel Galas DVD playing in the Engine House cinema, as well as a chance to view the outsyanding collection of locomotives, rolling stock and railwayana.
